Alfred Loisy believes that the later followers of Paul added such ideas and passages. Of course it is clear that such epistles as Hebrews, containing much "gnostic" thinking, are most likely later additions to the corpus. But whether or not such passages were inserted in the epistles generally believed as authentic is the really big question. Best, Yuri.
