In fact, Miller, in his summary of the Cameron/Dewey papers, put it something like this, I think: If "Thomas" were to meet "John", they wouldn't have all that much that they wanted to talk about with each other, their approaches are so different. But this must be an exaggeration, because both expend considerable effort focussed on the person of Jesus and who he was. I've just got to wondering lately if GThomas ever uses the appellation "Christ" for Jesus? I need to check this out somehow. In other words, does GThomas have a Christology of any kind? If so, what? If not, that might well explain why it didn't become part of the canon.
